Description

The Ratchet DT Swiss DEG90T DF 0/10/20 upgrade kit incorporates the very latest DF technology, designed to eliminate the pedal kickback effect. This simplified anti-kickback device is compatible with all Ratchet DEG freewheel systems. Lighter than other solutions, it requires only the replacement of the threaded hub ring and the two toothed rings.

With this kit, you benefit from three adjustable degrees of freedom (0°, 10° and 20°), enabling you to fine-tune your bike's behavior according to terrain or suspension type. The rear suspension is thus freed from the influence of the chain, allowing it to absorb shocks more fluidly and naturally.

Installation is simple and adds no extra weight. What's more, the DF system requires no additional parts to reset: it uses only the rotation of the wheel and the pressure of the springs on the toothed rings. The result: minimal maintenance and maximum reliability.

Informations techniques

DF = 0
The engagement angle of the Ratchet DEG hub is preserved, without affecting the kick-back effect. The 0° configuration is generally better suited to Cross Country riding, where freewheel engagement speed is of prime importance.

DF = 10°.
The freewheel system has a 10° freedom of rotation before engaging, which reduces the kick-back effect. The 10° setting is generally better suited to All Mountain riding, where kick-back becomes noticeable and can be part of the bike's configuration.

DF = 20°.
The freewheel system has 20° of freedom of rotation before engaging, offering the greatest kickback reduction in our system. The 20° setting is generally better suited to Enduro/Downhill riding, where kick-back becomes noticeable and part of the bike's configuration.
