The MTB shoes SHIMANO XC502 are an elegant and versatile XC model that offers high performance to more riders.

The lightweight, durable Shimano Ultread XC rubber outsole ensures long-lasting grip for competition-level demands. What's more, the lightweight upper, with optimized material placement, guarantees a comfortable, precise fit. The BOA® L6 knob, located on the instep tightening band, provides a quick and secure fit, adapting to a wide range of foot shapes.

The fiberglass-reinforced midsole enhances power transfer for optimal pedaling efficiency. The wrap-around, overlap-reducing upper structure ensures a glove-like fit. What's more, customizable cleats allow you to select and swap spikes to suit different styles and riding conditions. "A simple, attractive, comfortable model that's easy to forget. Not as stiff as the xc7s with carbon inserts, but enough for a comfort/efficiency ratio. The water-repellent fabric-free construction makes for easy cleaning and drying. The only drawback is the boa knob, which doesn't allow notch-by-notch adjustment: don't over-tighten at the start, or you'll have to undo the whole thing and start again from scratch. Not very practical, but you get used to it. Satisfied with the model for those looking for a versatile rando/xco shoe without being dedicated exclusively to competition".
