Description

The SHIMANO GE900 MTB shoes are the iconic SPD model for downhill and enduro, offering high-level grip and bike control.

The Shimano Ultread GE rubber compound, specially optimised for enduro, and the outsole ensure reliable traction for both pedalling and walking. The Torbal 2.0 midsole improves the flexibility of the outer edge, providing excellent control on descents and in aggressive corners. Furthermore, the BOA® adjustment system with an L6 dial, protected by a plastic guard, prevents accidental release upon impact with rocks or other obstacles on the trail.

The stiff carbon-reinforced midsole promotes efficient pedalling on transfer stages and during climbs. In addition, the pedal channel has been improved with an extended design from toe to heel to ensure exceptional stability when the SPD cleat is disengaged. The layered spongy EVA foam absorbs impacts and, combined with the flexible Torbal 2.0 midsole, improves bike control. Finally, the mid-foot placement of the SPD cleat optimises stability and control, while the stretchy mesh ankle collar provides additional protection against dirt and debris.
