The Selle San Marco Ground Shield Dynamic is specially designed to meet the demands of MTB (Trail, Enduro, Cross-Country), Gravel and electric bikes (E-MTB). Its compact shape (Short-fit) with a shorter nose makes it easier to move from the rear of the saddle to the front during technical riding phases and steep climbs.

It stands out with its Shield technology: a highly abrasion-resistant microfibre reinforced cover with lateral anti-tear protection inserts, ideal for withstanding falls and frequent friction on off-road terrain. Equipped with the Open-Fit central relief channel, lightweight and robust Manganese rails and Pullfoam foam padding, the Ground Shield Dynamic offers stable, comfortable and durable sitting support on all trails.

What does the "Shield" finish mean on this saddle? The Shield finish incorporates specific material reinforcements on the most exposed areas of the saddle to prevent cover tearing in the event of a fall or rubbing against shorts / branches in MTB and Gravel riding.

Are Manganese rails compatible with my seatpost? A: Yes. Manganese rails have a standard round diameter of 7mm, guaranteeing direct and universal fitting on all seatpost clamps on the market.

Is this saddle suitable for an electric bike (E-Bike)? A: Absolutely. The slightly raised rear profile (Waved) allows the pelvis to be well positioned during motor accelerations, while the reinforced structure perfectly withstands the demands of an E-Bike.
