The stem Pride Racing FTL Kids brings all the expertise and performance of the French brand to the needs of the youngest competitors. Designed for small-size bike categories (Micro, Mini, Junior), it combines maximum stiffness with an ultra-compact and lightweight format, perfectly suited to children's body proportions.
Fully CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, this Top Load stem is heavily relieved to eliminate every unnecessary gram from the front of the bike. It accommodates handlebars at the standard diameter of 22.2 mm, delivering the reactivity and steering precision essential for building future champions' confidence on the track.
For which BMX sizes is this stem recommended? It is ideal for BMX Race configurations in Micro, Mini and Junior sizes. It allows small-framed riders to have a short and responsive cockpit, which greatly facilitates handling of the bike.
Is it compatible with small-size aluminium handlebars? Yes, absolutely. As long as the handlebar has a standard central clamp diameter of 22.2 mm (which is the case for the majority of aluminium bars in Mini/Junior sizes), compatibility is perfect.
Why choose a CNC-machined stem for a child? For children, the weight of the bike is a crucial factor. A CNC-machined stem offers the best possible weight-to-stiffness ratio. The lighter the front end of the bike, the easier it will be for the child to lift the wheel and ride with precision.
