Designed to meet the variable conditions of the Downhill World Cup tracks, the MAXXIS Shorty 27.5x2.40 WT Exo 3C tyre Tubeless Ready folding bead displays great versatility, making it equally at home on dry, mixed or muddy terrain.

Robust and with a larger volume than the Wet Scream, the MAXXIS Shorty features wide, large lateral knobs slightly offset for excellent cornering stability, even at high speed.

The tread, with its widely spaced knobs, ensures efficient evacuation of stones and mud while guaranteeing aggressive braking performance thanks to their square shape. It is also equipped with the MaxxTerra triple compound rubber blend offering an excellent compromise, with better traction and more grip than MaxxSpeed, and higher efficiency than MaxxGrip.

In this version, it features the Exo reinforcement on the sidewalls for increased protection against abrasion and tears, and can be fitted with or without an inner tube. It should also be noted that the casing has been optimised for mounting on a rim with an internal width of 35 mm.
