Description
Designed to meet the variable conditions of Downhill World Cup tracks, Downhill, the MAXXIS Shorty 27.5x2.40 WT Downhill 2-Ply Butyl 3C MaxxGrip folding tyre is particularly at home on loose to muddy terrain. In this Wide Trail (WT) version, it is optimised for rims 30 to 35 mm wide. It is also designed for Tubeless Ready fitting, without an inner tube.
Ultra-robust thanks to its reinforced Dual Ply casing, and with a larger volume than the Wet Scream, the MAXXIS Shorty features wide, chunky side knobs that are slightly offset, providing great stability in corners, even at high speed.
The tread, with its widely spaced knobs, ensures efficient clearing of stones and mud while guaranteeing biting braking performance thanks to their square shape.
It is also equipped with the MaxxGrip triple compound rubber blend, which offers the optimal combination of rebound and grip, for very high-level performance.
