Inspired by the Ikon, the MAXXIS Rekon tire 29x2.40 TanWall WT Exo Tubeless Ready soft bead is, like it, designed for competition Cross-Countrybut is designed for highly technical terrain requiring greater grip and control. Its higher studs are also larger and less numerous than those of the Ikon.
Featuring a flexible 60 tpi carcass, this version is fitted with the Dual Compound compound for low rolling resistance. This tire also features Exo sidewall reinforcement for enhanced protection against abrasion and tearing.
In this version Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, this tire is also equipped with the Wide Trail carcass, optimized for mounting on rims with an internal width of between 30 and 35 mm.
