Description

Dedicated to aggressive riders, the tire MAXXIS Minion DHR II 29x2,60 Exo+ 3C MaxxTerra Tubeless Ready with soft bead is designed forEnduro/Freeride competition on dry to loose terrain.

Completely redesigned, it offers even better performance in acceleration, cornering and braking. For example, the wide side blocks make cornering easier, while the denser central grooved tread provides even greater control. Triple tread compound MaxxTerra tread compound offers an excellent compromise, with better traction and more grip than the MaxxSpeed and better performance than MaxxGrip.

This version features the Exo+ reinforcement, which combines Exo and SilkShield reinforcements for total protection against abrasion and tearing, and can be fitted with or without an inner tube.

Ideal at the rear, it can be combined with the DHF at the front, for incredible efficiency.

Good tire / easy to mount / but ...

"I've been using it for several years now in conjunction with the DHF. It's a good tire that accepts all conditions without going to extremes. It chases very hard and has very good grip. On the other hand, it tends to wear out a bit quickly (I ride in the South of France on dry, rocky terrain): The price keeps going up! A tire that cost 45€ just a few years ago is now 65€ ... . (Not everyone has followed this upward trend . . . ) In short, it's a very good tire that forgives a lot of riding errors and is very easy to mount tubeless, but it's becoming more and more expensive."

Easy to assemble and inflate

"Very good tire especially in slippery non-muddy terrain. It inspires confidence in rock and root passages!"

reassuring

"very good tire, superb grip combined with a DHF at the front, very important to set the correct pressure for the terrain".

good rear tire on VTTAE to replace an Assegai

"very good tire on a 29-inch VTTAE. very hard to mount tubeless with yellow Panzer evo foam. replaces my Assegai 29x2,6; this tire is a bit lighter. No problems over 3 rides."
