Dedicated to aggressive riders, the MAXXIS Minion DHR II 27.5x2.40 WT Exo+ 3C MaxxTerra Tubeless Ready tire with soft bead is designed forEnduro/Freeride competition on dry to loose terrain.
Completely redesigned, it offers even better performance in acceleration, cornering and braking. For example, the wide side blocks make cornering easier, while the denser grooved center tread ensures even greater control. The triple MaxxTerra compound offers an excellent compromise, with better traction and grip than MaxxSpeed and superior performance to MaxxGrip.
In this version, it features Exo+ reinforcement, which combines Exo and SilkShield reinforcements for total protection against abrasion and tearing, and can be fitted with or without an inner tube. What's more, the carcass has been optimized for mounting on rims with an internal width of 35 mm.
Ideal for the rear, it can be combined with the DHF at the front, for incredible efficiency.

"Excellent tire"
"Perfect for the terrain between rock and dirt. Normal wear, drove 2000 km with it and no punctures."
"Gewohnt gute Maxxis Qualität. Bin von Schwalbe Big Betty und Magic Mary mit Super Gravity zurück auf diesen und den Assegai. Exo+ hält bei mir besser als die Super Gravity von Schwalbe."
"I buy these tires on a regular basis to mount them on a mullet-mounted enduro mountain bike. I'm very happy with them. I'm also pleased with Probikeshop's prices. It's a serious online store. Delivery is fast and the products are carefully packaged."
"Ordered, delivered perfect. The previous tire rear wheel electric mountain bike has traveled 3600 km, to see this one. No difficulty with mounting."
"Very good grip. Good braking, always stable in all weather conditions."
"Good feeling, no worries, slight slippage on the way up, but a little over inflated"
"I've always ridden with Exo DHRII tires on the rear without any problems. I opted for an Exo+ this time for a little more protection on an enduro race without going beyond the DH carcasses. 2 rides out, the rubber is as good as new but the tire tore 1.5cm down the sidewall when it pinched with the rim, even though it was inflated to 28psi. It's not even usable with an inner tube, it's bubbling through the gash. I have a doubt, bad luck or a manufacturing problem . ."
"Top tire, great grip on both dry and greasy surfaces."
"As I'm not a very good judge of these matters, I'd settle for saying that this tire offers me an interesting price/performance/weight ratio. Indeed, as I have a good deal of confidence in the DHR2, I haven't tried any other model and am therefore limited in my criticism. But it does offer reassuring grip under braking and cornering, and a very respectable lifespan."
