Description
Developed and tested in collaboration with Greg Minnaar, the MAXXIS Assegai tire takes its name from a spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa. This makes it the perfect weapon for fighting the mountains.
The tire's high lugs provide great traction and support on dry, damp, rooty or rocky terrain. The soft 3C Maxx grip compound is ideal for extreme conditions, for maximum grip and minimum rebound.
In this Tubeless Ready version, which can be mounted with or without an inner tube, this tire is also equipped with a reinforced DH casing to withstand the most arduous descents.
