Very good brake

"The brakes work great, but be sure to bleed them properly when reassembling if there's an inner cable housing."

Val5606 (4/5)

good product

"There's no bolt in the kit for mounting the caliper when you have a cable integrated into the frame—too bad."

Nono78440 (4/5)

Perfect

"I ordered it and received it on time. The parts were exactly what I expected. A nice bonus: the caliper came with new pads. I also ordered the Magura bleed kit at the same time. It was simple and effective to use."

Jim4207 (5/5)

Very good. But not too violent.

"I installed an XT BL-M785-B in the rear on a 160mm rotor. It’s lighter than my previous Shimano. Probably thanks to their Carbotecture. Very easy to install. An "adapter" kit is included to shorten the housing. Handy if, like me, you need to route it inside the frame. Braking is very progressive—maybe a little too much. I wouldn’t use it for a front brake. There’s too much travel on the lever before it actually brakes. But once you squeeze it, it does its job very well. Haven’t tested the bleeding. Even after cutting the hose to shorten it, I didn’t need to bleed it. A product with a good value for money."

Juan-Lupus (4/5)

Maintenance not possible

"I fitted a mountain bike with MT4 front and rear brakes. While trying to bleed the rear kit—which turned out to be impossible in the end—the bleed screw wouldn't tighten properly in the lever. P.S. The Magura bleed kit is a disaster compared to the Avid kit; one of the two syringes cracked when pressurized. I’m switching to XT."

Tofmorsang (1/5)

good product, but hard to

"Good product, but hard to bleed; braking distance is too long. Delivery time was great."

Riri79 (4/5)

Well

"I haven't installed it yet, so I'll see if the article is any good."
