Description

Extremely comfortable on loose and muddy terrain, the HUTCHINSON Toro 29x2.25 Hardskin tire Tubeless Ready flexible bead is designed for Cross-Country.

The more open side lugs ensure ultra-high-performance grip, while the low lugs on the tread optimize performance and facilitate mud evacuation.

In this version Tubeless Ready, the Toro 29x2.25 designed by HUTCHINSON is also equipped with the Hardskin XC textile reinforcement in high-strength nylon placed under the tread and on the sidewalls to avoid cuts on angular stones and thus further increase puncture resistance.

Ideal as a front tire, it combines perfectly with Python at the rear for optimum performance.

Reviews

2.25-inch Toro tire

"Testing out this new tire—I'm used to Maxxis, so we'll see how it goes over time."

Bruno42 (4/5)

Very satisfied

"A great tire, comfortable on all types of terrain. Excellent cornering grip and puncture resistance. The only downside is the rolling resistance, which, due to its squarer profile, is slightly higher than on Vittoria Barzo tires in my experience, but they perform worse in mud, especially when cornering."

Rider05 (5/5)

I'm over-validating

"With a Toro tire in the back and a Taipan in the front, nothing can stop me"

Mickpirate (5/5)

The top at the front

"I don't know how it performs in the back, but I've heard a lot of good things about the front, and honestly, I'm blown away—it's perfect, the best of the best."

Schneider6768 (5/5)

Great tires

"I bought these based on reviews, and I don't regret it—they grip much better than the stock tires, whether braking, cornering, or driving up muddy hills. I'd buy the same ones again in a heartbeat."

Bjoffrey (5/5)

Winter tire

"The perfect tire for winter; easy to install as a tubeless-ready tire"

J255678 (5/5)

No issues

"Overall, it was good, even though I was expecting a little more traction in the mud. Other than that, nothing to report."

Lepage (4/5)

great tagline

"Paired with a 2.10 in the rear—perfect for this wet winter! Still, it's just as hard to puncture with tubeless tires."

Erdes (5/5)

Perfect

"The products arrived as ordered and within the promised timeframe. Excellent service."

Fred13300 (5/5)

Perfect for winter

"This is an ideal tire for winter, especially in thick mud—it grips the ground really well. However, it's not designed for asphalt. Use it in wet and muddy conditions in the fall and winter. No issues mounting it as a tubeless tire, and it holds pressure well."
