HOPE TECH 4 EVO X2 FM Aviation Rear Brake Silver/Blue

The HOPE TECH 4 EVO X2 FM brake is the ultimate evolution of the renowned Tech 4 master cylinder, designed to deliver a perfect feel and total control of braking power. Machined from a block of 2014 T6 aluminium, the TECH 4 EVO master cylinder features a new piston, an optimised floating head, a revised cam, a second guide ring and three new levers, guaranteeing precise and personalised control for every rider. The lever pivot rests on two annular bearings, providing smooth and durable action, while the adjustment dials allow reach and free stroke to be tuned to individual preferences.

The X2 calliper, in Flat-Mount standard with a 34mm bolt spacing, is machined as a monoblock for increased rigidity and reduced weight. Its two 22 mm phenolic resin pistons (reference HBSP235) deliver power suited to lightweight applications such as downcountry and XC, while maintaining excellent performance at high temperatures. This configuration allows for precise modulation and control, ideal for long rides and varied terrain.

The aviation hose with a 5 mm diameter and 2 m length ensures simple and reliable installation. The brake comes with two types of pads: Racing (green) for maximum performance and All Conditions (red) for versatile use, making it easy to adapt to every riding style and terrain conditions.
