Description
The HOPE TECH 4 EVO X2 FM brake is the ultimate evolution of the legendary Tech 4 master cylinder, designed to deliver a perfect feel and total control of braking power. Machined from a 2014 T6 aluminium block, the TECH 4 EVO master cylinder incorporates a new piston, an optimised floating head, a revised cam, a second guide ring and three new levers, ensuring precise and personalised control for every rider. The lever pivot rests on two annular bearings, providing smooth and lasting action, while the adjustment dials allow the bite point and reach to be set according to individual preferences.
The X2 calliper, with Flat-Mount standard and 34 mm bolt spacing, is machined as a monoblock for increased stiffness and reduced weight. Its two 22 mm phenolic resin pistons (reference HBSP235) provide power suited to lighter applications such as downcountry and XC, while maintaining excellent high-temperature performance. This configuration allows precise modulation and control, ideal for long rides and varied terrain.
The aviation hose with a 5 mm diameter and 2 m length ensures simple and reliable installation. The brake comes with two types of pads: Racing (green) for maximum performance and All Conditions (red) for versatile use, making it easy to adapt to each riding style and terrain conditions.
