The HOPE TECH 4 EVO GR4 brake represents the pinnacle of technology and British craftsmanship. Entirely machined from a block of 2014 T6 aluminium, it combines precision, power and reliability to meet the demands of the most extreme disciplines, including downhill and e-bike.
The TECH 4 EVO master cylinder benefits from significant improvements: new piston, floating head, optimised cam, second guide seal and three new levers. These developments provide smooth and customisable control of braking power. The lever pivot rests on two annular bearings, ensuring a smooth and consistent action, while the adjustment dials allow fine-tuning of the reach and bite point to suit the rider's preferences.
The GR4 calliper, Post-Mount (74.2 mm) standard, is machined as a single piece for increased rigidity and controlled weight. Its four hybrid pistons — two 17 mm and two 18 mm — guarantee maximum power and optimal thermal management. This model offers 6% more power compared to the Tech 4 V4, while maintaining exemplary progressiveness. Ideal for gravity and e-bikes, it remains incompatible with vented rotors.
Supplied with three types of pads (Racing, All Conditions, and E-Bike), the HOPE TECH 4 EVO GR4 adapts to all riding styles. With its 2 m hose, 14 colour combinations and highly refined design, it stands as the absolute benchmark in high-end braking for the most demanding riders.
