Description
After the success of the AG1, which redefined the standard for DH grips, the American brand that created the Lock-On locking system and the five-time winner of the Downhill World Cup are at it again with the ODI Aaron Gwin 2 grips!
Taking up what made the first generation so successful, the AG2s take performance even further, thanks to the use of a new ultra-soft material, combined with an improved molded pattern that provides better grip and reduces vibration.
These grips also feature an eccentric grip derived from Elite grips, offering even more damping where it's needed most, without increasing the grip diameter.
Finally, the most shock-prone parts have been redesigned to provide better feel and more precision when you're riding.

"Ayant déjà testé pas mal de Lock-On - Rogue, Yeti, Ruffian, X-Trainer, Vans – j’ai toujours été satisfait sans non plus être super emballé même si les Vans sortent quand même du lot avec ou sans gants. Attiré par la signature Gwin, j’ai franchi le pas pour une utilisation DH avec gants. Bien mal m’en a pris car j’en suis vraiment déçu ! Après les avoir orientés comme préconisé puis essayé différentes positions, rien y fait ! J’ai toujours la très mauvaise sensation que mes mains vont ripper sans prévenir, les ailettes horizontales me gênant plus qu’autre chose… Ayant des mains assez fines (T9) pour mes 85kg, le diamètre des AG-2 semble être trop important. A contrario, la gomme - annoncée super tendre - n'a pas un touché assez efficace pour assurer un bon grip. Reste quand même le système Lock-On 2. 1 à un seul collier qui supprime le risque de prise de jeu que l'on constate sur la première version. Bref ! Même après 2 saisons d’utilisation, mes vieux Vans font mieux. Reste plus qu’à en racheter une paire."
