"I bought this adapter, but it didn't allow me to mount a caliper as planned. In fact, when I tighten the screws on the adapter all the way, it gets in the way of the disc and is no longer parallel. You can loosen it to move it into a position parallel to the disc, but in that case, you can’t tighten the screws properly in the end. I think that since I have a bike with a fairly old design (a Shark TS-300 Dynamic) and a non-original fork with mounting drops that are slightly angled downward, this isn’t surprising. What’s needed are different screw adapters so that everything finally lines up straight again."
