The DEG Ratchet is designed to reduce the engagement angle, a crucial factor for acceleration out of turns. It uses a principle similar to that of the classic ratchet system, but each component is optimized in size to allow for the use of larger toothed rings.

In addition, the unique PURE CARBON rim finishing process does not use any varnish, which further reduces the wheel’s weight while offering a sophisticated, streamlined design. The term“Hookless” refers to the shape of the rim flange, which in this case is straight, without the traditional hook. This design increases the impact resistance of carbon rim flanges and allows for tire pressures of up to 5 bars.
