Manufacturing flat pedals represents a long-standing expertise, with more than two decades of experience since the creation of the first Burgtec product. The BURGTEC PENTHOUSE FLAT MK5 B-RAGE EDITION flat pedals represented an innovative challenge, demonstrating that learning and improvement are constant in this field.

Brage Vestavik's approach required a reassessment and optimisation of the product to meet his specific requirements, embodying the ideal of Freeride MTB. Dimensions and weight mattered little; the essence lay in robustness, grip and durability.

The MK5 B-Rage Edition is an improved version of the Penthouse Flat MK5, larger and more robust. This B-Rage edition has been extended by 12 mm, offering a 112 mm x 102 mm platform for increased support during heavy impacts. In addition, centre pins have been reintroduced for the first time since the MK1, adding three extra pins for optimal grip. The greater the pressure on the pedal, the more grip is maximised, ensuring uncompromising performance.

Inside, the configuration remains identical to that of the MK5, ensuring effective protection against mud and water, while keeping the grease in place. Longevity, a central element of Burgtec products, is guaranteed, minimising maintenance downtime and maximising performance.
