Description

The handlebar Pride Racing Flowmotion is an essential reference for BMX Race riders who prioritise absolute reliability, responsiveness and the unique feel of premium steel. Designed to withstand the harshest stresses of explosive starts and heavy landings, it offers unrivalled durability.

Made from superior-quality Chromoly 4130 steel, it benefits from a full post-weld heat treatment and a variable-thickness (Butted) structure. This process makes the handlebar lighter where stress is minimal and reinforces it at strategic areas. With its ED Black (electro-deposition) surface treatment, it durably resists corrosion while displaying a clean and understated style.

What is the "ED Black" treatment? ED Black (Electro-Deposit) is a paint process applied by immersion under electric current. This allows an ultra-thin and perfectly uniform protective layer to be applied, even inside the handlebar tubes, providing a far superior anti-corrosion barrier compared to conventional liquid paint.

Which stem can I use to fit this handlebar? As this model uses the standard clamp diameter of 22.2 mm, it is compatible with the vast majority of BMX stems on the market (such as the Pride Cayman V2 or Pride FTL standard models). You do not need an Oversize stem (31.8 mm) for this handlebar.

Why choose Chromoly over Carbon? It is above all a matter of feel and budget. Chromoly is extremely forgiving, absorbs crashes without flinching and filters impacts in a unique way that many riders prefer for maintaining good riding feel, all at a much more affordable price.

Highlights

Heat-Treated 4130 Chromoly Steel: An ultra-robust structure offering excellent resistance to mechanical fatigue and impacts.

Multi-Butted Technology: Variable-thickness tubes to reduce weight on the front end without sacrificing a single millimetre of rigidity.

ED Black Finish: A cataphoresis surface treatment that penetrates deep into the steel for maximum protection against rust and scratches.

Controlled Flex: Unlike aluminium or carbon, Chromoly offers a slight natural flex highly appreciated by riders to reduce arm pump on demanding tracks.
