Shimano's 12 Speed MICHE SUPERTYPE cassette embodies over 20 years of innovation and research in the quest for lightness and performance. True to the DNA of the Supertype range, it combines high-end materials and advanced design to offer smooth, precise transmission for the most demanding cyclists.

The intermediate, last and penultimate sprockets are made from Ergal AL 7075 T6 aluminum alloy with Hard Treatment (HT) anodizing. This treatment increases hardness, smoothness and service life. First- and second-position sprockets, however, are made of alloy steel.

Ergal 7075 T6 aluminum spacers and locking ring contribute to its exceptional lightness, with a weight of just 188 g in 11-30T, 35 g less than its competitors. Every detail has been designed to maximize performance. With the Supertype cassette, every marginal gain becomes a decisive advantage in the race.
