How to fit road bike handlebar tapes?
Visit handlebar tapes provide a comfortable riding position and add a personal touch to your bike. Here's how to apply them.

Steps
- Clean the part of the hanger on which the ribbons will be placed.
- Attach the sheaths with adhesive tape A.
- Roll up the casserole on itself.
- Place a strip about 10 cm behind the lever to cover the clamp. B.
Probikeshop tip: this band is sometimes supplied with your hanger tapes.
- Start winding the ribbon on the hanger, starting at the bottom and leaving the ribbon about 1 cm above the hanger. C.
Probikeshop tip: some hanger tapes feature a self-adhesive strip for easy installation.
- Then continue wrapping the tape around the handlebars, stretching it slightly and overlapping it by about 1/3 so that the handlebars are well covered.
- When you're about 5 cm from the stem, cut the tape at an angle for a better finish, then secure it with the adhesive tape supplied with the hanger tapes. D.
- Place the plug by tucking the ribbon protrusion into the hanger. E.
- Replace the lever cover.
- Repeat for the other ribbon.
