How to mount road bike tires?

Steps

  1. Place the first rod of your tire then the inner tube starting with the valve.
    Probikeshop tip: be sure to follow the rolling direction indicated on the tire sidewall.

  2. Then place the tire's second bead starting from the side opposite the valve, taking care not to pinch the inner tube between tire and rim.

  3. Unfold the tire bead from left to right all the way around the tire, so that it fits properly, and check that the tube is securely in place.

  4. Inflate your tire to the desired pressure and refit it. wheel on the bike.
