How to mount your mountain bike star?
The most dreaded operation when fitting a new fork, fitting theMTB star must be done right the first time. You'll only get one chance, so here are a few tips on how to get it right on your ATV.

The key to success in this operation is to use the specific tool for mounting a star to place it straight and at the right distance in the pivot.
- Check that the pivot cut-out on your mountain bike fork is straight and deburred.
- Place the star on the steering star tool.
- Position the tool on the fork pivot, then tap the tool to retract the star.
- Unscrew the tool and check that the star is securely in place.
