How to choose your mountain bike brake hoses?

Visit hoses transmit the power you exert on your brake lever directly to theMTB brake caliper. They must regularly withstand pressures of around 25 bar, or even more, when braking hard and fast. To avoid unpleasant surprises, it's vital to use hoses that are in good condition and compatible with your brakes.

Which brake hose should I choose?

As mentioned above, it's essential to choose the model compatible with your specific make and model of mountain bike disc brake.

If the routing of your hose requires bending on small radii, or is likely to be subject to bending or abrasion, opt for an aviation-type hose, more resistant to pinching or tearing.
