A leading brand at the highest level, RIDLEY was born from the passion of a young cyclist, Joachim Aerts, who at the age of 18 turned to designing and painting frames and created Race Productions. For seven years, he honed his talent for various manufacturers, before going independent in 1997 with the birth of RIDLEY. Located in the Flemish part of Belgium – a land of cycling par excellence where the harsh conditions (wind, cold, cobbled roads) are ideal for testing the endurance and performance of prototypes –, the company built a solid reputation within a few years, with high-performing machines and refined design. Designed at the company's headquarters, the frames are manufactured in China and Taiwan. The bikes are then assembled on the brand's premises, notably with 4ZA (Forza) components, a subsidiary brand of RIDLEY offering wheels, saddles, seatposts and high-quality handlebars. Furthermore, top-of-the-range models are hand-painted, with recognised expertise in this area. Today, the brand offers a complete range of Road, Triathlon/TT, Cyclocross and even Mountain Bike models.
A partner since the early days of professional teams, notably Team Lotto Soudal, RIDLEY relies on champions such as Tony Gallopin and André Greipel to design bikes that are fast, responsive, comfortable and robust. The Noah Fast is simply breathtaking. It delivers impressive acceleration and proves easy to handle. Of course, its geometry is not suited to mountain climbs, but on flat or mildly undulating courses, it is a true missile – ultra-stiff and responsive. And on the safety side, the braking integrated into the fork is incredibly sharp and effective. In short, a real racing beast!
